With July 4th around the corner, this serves as a great reminder for a "posting opportunity" on your blog. Holidays are a fun post to include in your blog. Add an old photo or something sentimental with some facts or interesting tidbits and voila...you've created a post for your blog!
Holiday posts can be light hearted, emotional and informative for your readers...you can even add if you're taking time off to recognize the holiday.
I like to try to create my Holiday posts in advance (if possible). You can use the drop down on "posting status" on the left just under the body of your text (using Typepad) to select "Publish on..." I select the day of the holiday early in the morning (like 5 am).
Reveal a bit of yourself, show off what you know...have a great time. Blogging is fun!
