An Adventure to Alaska began from the Shores Off Beach Drive

Yesterday, West Seattle Blog reported on an adventure that launched from the shores of Emma Schmitz Viewpoint.  You can read the full article here.

"...Alex Kongsgaard launched this morning from the rocky shore below Emma Schmitz Memorial Overlook on Beach Drive – West Seattle to Glacier Bay, planning on about 30 miles a day over the next eight weeks..."
