Lost Bird

Dsc_0219A few weeks ago, we found this lovely bird in front of Emma Schmitz Memorial View Point.

Right away, we could tell he was not like the rest of the flock he was swimming with.    My husband decided to rescue him.   The bird was not afraid and seems very comfortable with humans.   He must be someone's pet.

This creature has been making our neighbors a bit uncomfortable as he just stares constantly without flinching, or even blinking!

We noticed the bird has not been eating much (if anything at all) and doesn't want to Dsc_0221_2leave his new perch.

Are you missing this fowl?   He's large (about the size of a Canadian Goose), appears to be hollow and perhaps plastic.

We would love to return this beautiful bird to it's rightful owner.
